The Mayor Ssekiziyivu Innocent on 18/January/2023 went out for inspection on the progress of the USMID roads projects in Mubende municipal council. The projects are evenly progressing and the Mayor appreciated both the funders and the men at work for the project development in the municipality.

The Village Health Officers of Mubende municipal council on 09/March/2023 recieved motorcycles from the Ministry of health. The VHOs had been facing hazards in their bid to reach health services to the farthest parts of their particular villages, the ministry of health in response to this need decided to avail motorcycles to the health officers.

UGANDA IS DECLARED EBOLA FREE AFTER 42 DAYS SINCE THE LAST CASES IN MUBENDE AND KASSANDA
Uganda is declared free of the Ebola epidemic that ravaged the country from September 2022. The declaration follows an end of a 42-day monitoring period that saw no new case registered. Minister for Health Jane Ruth Aceng says it took adherence with community guidelines against the epidemic to reach this milestone.
