UGANDA IS DECLARED EBOLA FREE AFTER 42 DAYS SINCE THE LAST CASES IN MUBENDE AND KASSANDA

Uganda declared ebola free

Uganda is declared free of the Ebola epidemic that ravaged the country from September 2022. The declaration follows an end of a 42-day monitoring period that saw no new case registered. Minister for Health Jane Ruth Aceng says it took adherence with community guidelines against the epidemic to reach this milestone.
